Coach Dan Dwyer held a CFS Fundraiser Open Mat at Trinity MMA on the 27th of December. With the recent bush fires across the state and ongoing fires at Hollands Creek Road / Cudlee Creek, we wanted to raise funds to support the efforts of the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS) volunteers.
On the day, the South Australian Brazilian jiu-jitsu and martial arts community in attendance raised $191.45. Funds raised have been donated to the CFS Foundation. Since 2001, the CFS Foundation has provided financial support to volunteer firefighters who experience injury or loss while in service of South Australian communities.
