Jake Matthews is a veteran of the sport of MMA in Australia, with a decade of competition experience. He has faced and overcome MMA legends like Diego Sanchez. He remains an active competitor in the UFC with his most recent bout against André Fialho ending with a KO finish by Matthews in the 2nd round – earning him Performance of the Night.
Jake Matthews looks to bring his experience, skills and knowledge to participants at the Trinity MMA limited-places seminar, ensuring all athletes will receive direct advice and coaching during the session.

He was quick to gain the notice of the UFC, gaining a position as a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs Australia.
Matthews has significant international competition experience, fighting in Las Vegas (United States), Kallang (Singapore), Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), and in Aukland (New Zealand).
Matthews has a professional fighting record of 23 fights, with 18 wins. The majority of his wins come by way of a finish – with 7 submissions and 5 knockouts.
His recent return to the cage was an exciting fight, displaying sharp striking and determination.
